Yes, we can blame the banks and mortgage companies and all the other financial institutions, and the U.S. car companies who haven't been profitable for years, and the financial advisors who hyped stocks and bonds shamelessly.

Credit Crisis - This Ain't No Credit Crisis!
They say there's a "credit crisis" in the U.S., and perhaps worldwide. The banks are failing all over. Yet those executive who have run the banks into the crisis are getting millions of dollars in bonuses. This AIN'T NO CRISIS! That's what I call GETTING RICH! And with no accountability, and no negative consequences, those bank executives ought to do the same thing again next year, and MAKE THEMSELVES EVEN RICHER!! Why not? Who's going to punish this gang of corporate criminals?? Their greed and inhumanity is on the same level as The JOKER from The Dark Knight.
